Long tail keywords refine the search so that your searches are narrowed down to what your customer is actually after! So in the above example a business in Scarborough who is looking for a website would probably enter into the Google search engine “Professional business website design Scarborough” or at the very least “business website design Scarborough” because they know that the results will show them that Scarborough business website designers will be at the top, it makes sense now doesn’t it!

Stage two:

This can only be done once all of the above have been completed so stage one MUST be completed before stage two of the project can begin.

Directory submissions; your site is submitted to free directories which are all PR (page rank) from 1 to 6 over a period of time, again to comply with Google guide lines. These free web directories do not require a link back (reciprocal link) or review payment, there are no hidden costs meaning you will not be asked to upgrade or renew the following year etc.

Most of these directories will allow main pages only and is why we use the main page only internal pages receive a lower percentage of acceptance as it depends on the directory owners what they will and will not accept.

We use 3 different titles with your keywords anchor text, 3 different descriptions again using your keywords and 3 different categories are used to submit using a variation of these in the submissions. All of this is done over a period of 4 weeks but we continue to monitor all verification and activation emails in regards to the submissions made to the directories for this project for up 12 months. (This is due to some of the submissions taking up to 6 months or longer to be reviewed and accepted by the directory owners.

A report is emailed of each installment one per week until submissions have been completed over a 4 week period.
